It has been an amazing journey with this church plant. These are just a few of our exciting moments so far. A lot has happened and there is so much on our heart for the future. Please pray that God will guide and direct us and give us His strength to carry out the mission He has laid on our hearts!

International Christian Fellowship
This semester we have been studying the book of Philippians and what Paul has to say about joy. Yesterday we finished our looking at chapter 4: “…I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” As is custom, (well at least this semester) we had a weekly guest speaker, and this week was our own Joshua Hammond, another pastor at Watermark/good friend/best man in the wedding. This timely message was really poignant in that it forced everyone to go from an intellectual theology of the verse to an ACTUAL lived-out theology. That is the challenge: to not just talk about this truth but to LIVE it and see the campus transformed by our LIVING in Christ!
The truth is: We may feel happy or sad when circumstances change in our life… but true JOY comes from knowing Christ and living in Him. So I say to you: REJOICE ALWAYS!
We are constantly reminded by the stories we hear that most students strive toward happiness instead of joy. They put their hope in their grades, their relationships and the jobs they work towards instead of the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ.
Pray for His wisdom in how to reach HKU campus and to be God’s presence in the lives of students that are in desperate need of true JOY!

Centre for Christianity and Global Engagement
One of our church members is driving the vision for a Christian Centre at Hong Kong University. We believe that this would be a huge blessing to the campus and an open door to impact the student community. Next week the proposal will be presented to the Senior Management Team of the university…
Please pray for Daniel as he leads this effort and for all involved… as well as for favor by the University leadership.
